When cleaning aluminum parts with an ultrasonic cleaner, if the surface turns white, it may be due to the addition of too much alkaline cleaning agent in the cleaning solution or the high temperature of the cleaning solution, which causes corrosion on the aluminum surface. In addition, if the water in the cleaning tank of the cleaning machine is not replaced in a timely manner or the cleaning tank capacity is too small, the concentration of the cleaning solution may be too high, leading to corrosion on the surface of the aluminum part.
To avoid the whitening of aluminum parts, the following points should be noted:
Choose a suitable cleaning agent: For aluminum parts, a suitable cleaning agent, such as a neutral or weak acid cleaning agent, should be selected to avoid the use of excessive alkaline cleaning agents.
Control the temperature of the cleaning solution: The high temperature of the cleaning solution will accelerate the corrosion of the cleaning agent on the aluminum parts. Therefore, the temperature of the cleaning solution should be controlled and not exceed 40℃.
Regularly replace the cleaning solution: Dirt and corrosive substances in the cleaning solution will gradually increase, and regular replacement of the cleaning solution can avoid high concentration of the cleaning solution and corrosion on the surface of the aluminum parts.
Pay attention to the cleaning tank capacity of the cleaning machine: The cleaning tank capacity of the cleaning machine should be large enough to avoid high concentration of the cleaning solution.
Rinse with water in a timely manner after cleaning: After cleaning, the surface of the aluminum parts should be thoroughly rinsed with water to avoid residual cleaning agent causing corrosion on the surface of the aluminum parts.
